Pray

The guidance I received today
Is that it might be good for me to pray
For all the things I need to know
And all of those I must let go
For others souls less fortunate
To be patient and compassionate
For peace to come where there is war
For the waves that crash upon the shore
For food we eat
Shoes on my feet
For hugs and smiles
Across the miles
For little girls that giggle loud
Who always seem to make me proud
For listening and being kind
With open heart and open mind
Todays a day for gratitude
Of a purely loving attitude
So thank you to my guides above
For helping me to live in love.
