Intend

Every new beginning
Takes us to an end
We can let it break us
Or we can learn to bend

For that which we resist
We can also make amends
No longer need to fight
Nor needing to pretend

Whether it’s a job
A lover, or a friend
The circumstances change
A farewell we must send

So when you see a pattern
Or when you see a trend
Just do your best to learn from it
And fix what you can mend

Otherwise just keep the faith
Be mindful what you spend
Just live with love straight from the heart
And do what you Intend.
